Alison Gopnik: What do babies think?

Stumbled upon this TED Talk video with Alison Gopnik, whose ideas provide some perspective on how children think and engage with the world. In particular, it questions the tendency that (traditional) classrooms have to focus/limit the attention of students on particular ideas, rather than encouraging collaborative and creative environments/relationships. This has interesting connections to Steven Johnson’s ideas in Where Good Ideas Come From. Gopnik’s ideas are just fascinating!
